Heather may have just made one tiny mistake that could completely change the way her connection to Andre is understood. The moment itself does not require her to say Andre’s name, admit a past relationship, or reveal anything dramatic. In fact, the most suspicious version of this theory works because the information is so small. Heather could casually mention something about Andre’s private habits, his time in Paris or Europe, a particular champagne he used to drink, or something connected to his old “wild days.” Then, almost immediately, she realizes she has said too much and changes the subject. That reaction could be the real clue.
The biggest problem is simple: Dani never told Heather that information. If Heather truly knows a detail that has never been shared with her, then where did it come from? That question is much more explosive than simply asking whether Heather knows Andre. The possibility that she knows him has already become obvious enough to raise suspicion. The more important mystery is how deep that knowledge goes. Knowing someone’s name is one thing. Knowing a private habit or forgotten detail from years ago is something completely different.
Imagine Heather mentioning that Andre hates being photographed or instinctively avoids cameras. On its own, that could sound harmless. Maybe she heard it somewhere. Maybe someone mentioned it casually. But what if she then corrects herself, pauses, or suddenly redirects the conversation? The strange part would not necessarily be the information itself. It would be the speed with which Heather tries to bury it. Someone who genuinely has nothing to hide would have little reason to become uncomfortable over such a minor detail.
The same logic becomes even more suspicious if the information involves Andre’s time in Europe. Suppose Heather casually references Paris as though she already knows what happened there. Dani would immediately have a reason to wonder how Heather could possibly know about that period of Andre’s life. The same applies to something as specific as his preferred champagne or an incident from his younger, wilder years. Each detail might seem meaningless by itself. Put together, however, they could suggest that Heather knew Andre long before she entered Dani’s world.
That changes the central question completely. Instead of asking, “Does Heather know Andre?”, the question becomes: “What did Heather know about Andre before she ever met Dani?” That distinction matters. It creates the possibility that Heather does not simply know Andre from a romantic past. She may know a version of him that Dani has never seen. And if that version of Andre is connected to the things he now describes as parts of his past that he is “not proud of,” Heather could be carrying information powerful enough to threaten everything he has built.
This could also explain why Andre appears so uneasy about the past catching up with him. A former lover would certainly create tension, but a person who knows what actually happened during Andre’s “wild days” would represent something much more dangerous. Heather might not be returning simply because of unfinished romantic business. She could be returning because she knows exactly what Andre wants forgotten—and she knows where to find him.
Then there is the selfie with Dani. At first, it can be dismissed as an innocent moment between two women. But after Heather’s possible slip-up, the picture takes on a completely different meaning. What if the selfie was not really for Heather? What if she wanted Andre to see it? She would not need to send him a threatening message or mention his name. The photograph itself could communicate everything: I found you. And now I can reach Dani.
That possibility becomes even more intriguing when the upcoming mysterious rendezvous involving Andre enters the picture. The timing raises an obvious question: could Heather’s sudden closeness to Dani, Joey’s confrontation with Heather, and Andre being drawn into a mysterious meeting somehow connect? There is no confirmation that Heather arranged the rendezvous, so that should remain theory rather than fact. But the sequence creates enough room for suspicion.
And that is why Heather’s hypothetical slip-up could be far more important than another revelation about her connection to Andre. The real bombshell would not be that she knows him. It would be that she knows something Dani never told her. Heather would not need to say Andre’s name. She would only need to reveal one private detail, realize her mistake, and quickly move on.
Because once that happens, the question becomes impossible to ignore:
HOW DID HEATHER KNOW?
And the answer could reveal that Heather did not enter Dani’s life by accident.
