Storms’ recent social media activity immediately sparked speculation that Maxie could be heading back to Port Charles. The tease was significant enough for Soap Opera Digest to ask whether Storms had just hinted at a GH return. There is still no official confirmation of a return date, but the door was deliberately left open when Maxie exited Port Charles. She wasn’t written into a permanent goodbye. She left for Australia with Spinelli and their family.
That Australia detail suddenly feels much more interesting.
On the August 14 episode, Brennan appeared while Alexis was desperately trying to convince Drew to let Scout spend time with Sam’s family. Brennan seemed to be helping Alexis when he hinted that he possessed damaging information from Drew’s congressional past. But after Drew walked away, Brennan revealed that his help came with a price: he wanted information about Jasper Jacks Enterprises.
That should immediately raise one enormous question: Why does Brennan care about JJE?

If he is willing to trade valuable information about Drew just to learn more about JJE, whatever Brennan is searching for appears important enough to spend political dirt to obtain it.
