Chelsea Hamilton’s nightmare could be hiding a family secret darker than the kidnapping itself. A persistent Beyond the Gates theory suggests Allison Bailey and Madison Montgomery are not merely two women fighting over Chelsea. They could be estranged sisters—or even twins—whose connection has been deliberately concealed. If that secret comes out, Chelsea’s engagement would become part of a deeply personal conflict that began long before she understood the danger.
The idea first surfaced in 2025, when viewers noticed several curious similarities between Madison and Allison. Their names have a comparable rhythm, their physical resemblance fits a familiar soap-opera casting pattern, and their entrances into Chelsea’s life overlapped too conveniently. None of those details proves a biological connection, but together they created an opening for a classic secret-sibling twist.
Madison’s early behavior helped keep that suspicion alive. Before she and Chelsea officially became a couple, Madison appeared to watch Chelsea at the bar. The scene was presented as an early sign of attraction, yet it could carry a second meaning if Madison already knew something about Allison. She might have recognized the woman Allison had discussed obsessively—or realized Chelsea had become her sister’s latest target.
Madison was also unusually composed whenever Allison intruded on her time with Chelsea. She treated Allison as an unwelcome and unstable former lover, but she rarely displayed the level of confusion expected from someone encountering a complete stranger’s escalating obsession. If Madison and Allison are estranged sisters, their personalities could reveal why they separated. The theory does not require Madison to be a villain. She could have hidden Allison’s identity because she feared Chelsea would end their relationship or believe she had deliberately targeted her. Madison might also have assumed Allison would remain confined forever.
