GENERAL HOSPITAL SPOILER THEORY
Monet Mitchell came to Port Charles to fight for Chase, but the newest attorney in town could be about to uncover a secret far more explosive than anything Tracy Quartermaine anticipated. One overlooked record from Delilah’s past could lead Monet straight to the man who fathered Phoebe — and the discovery could turn Chase and Brook Lynn’s custody battle into a nightmare neither of them saw coming.

Monet has already made it clear that she will not be intimidated by Tracy. When she insisted Chase should return to the Quartermaine mansion, she was protecting his position as Phoebe’s father in the event his marriage to Brook Lynn collapsed. Tracy eventually agreed, although she had her own plan for using Chase’s closeness with Willow against him. What neither woman has addressed is whether the paperwork establishing Phoebe’s family tells the whole story.
That question leads directly back to Ethan. He presented himself as Phoebe’s biological father and pushed for a private adoption, but his behavior never matched that of a man simply trying to do right by his daughter. When Elizabeth collected his DNA sample, Ethan secretly replaced it with material taken from PCPD evidence. He later admitted to Ava that he was not Phoebe’s father at all. His deception was part of a promise to protect Delilah’s child.
The disturbing possibility is that Ethan did not merely invent a convenient story. He may have been protecting Phoebe from a specific man — someone whose name Delilah had tried desperately to keep out of her daughter’s life.
Delilah’s connection to the Manhattan art world gives Monet a promising place to start. Alexis and Ava previously traced Delilah’s distinctive tattoo to artist Kiyoko and a gallery, where a photograph helped establish her connection to Ethan. That investigation appeared to answer one question, but it may have left a much bigger one untouched: Who else was connected to Delilah through the gallery?
Consider a possible twist. While reviewing the adoption file, Monet notices that Ethan’s account of Delilah’s movements does not match the date attached to an old gallery record. She requests the original document and discovers that one entry has been omitted from the copy previously supplied to investigators. The missing entry contains a name, a private address, and a payment linked to Delilah shortly before she fled to Port Charles.
That record would not automatically prove paternity. But combined with Ethan’s falsified DNA test, it could explain why he went to such extraordinary lengths to make himself Phoebe’s legal father. He was not simply hiding the identity of Delilah’s former lover. He may have been trying to erase a trail leading from Phoebe to someone with the resources to find her.
And that is where the mystery could take a dangerous turn.
Jenz Sidwell’s connections to the art world make him an intriguing possibility. His history with Ethan also gives the theory a personal dimension. What if Ethan’s determination to keep Phoebe safe was connected to a secret Delilah discovered while moving through the same circles as Sidwell? What if the gallery record Monet uncovers points toward a relationship that was never meant to become public? This remains a theory, not a confirmed revelation about Phoebe’s parentage.
The timing would make Monet’s discovery especially devastating. Sidwell is currently fighting for his freedom and has turned to Alexis for help. Alexis, meanwhile, was instrumental in arranging Phoebe’s adoption after accepting Ethan’s story. If Monet brings her evidence that the supposed father falsified the foundation of that arrangement, Alexis could face uncomfortable questions about what she believed and what she failed to uncover.
Tracy would have an entirely different problem. She is concentrating on maneuvering Chase into a compromising situation with Willow, convinced that his personal mistakes could strengthen Brook Lynn’s custody position. But a credible lead concerning Phoebe’s biological father would threaten to drag the family into a battle that has nothing to do with Chase’s marriage. Tracy could spend weeks setting her trap only to discover that Monet has uncovered a threat no one in the mansion was watching.
For Brook Lynn, the consequences would be deeply personal. She has already suffered enough while trying to build a family with Chase. Learning that Ethan lied would be painful; discovering that his lie was designed to keep a dangerous man away from Phoebe could be terrifying. The child she loves might be connected to someone who sees family as another form of control.
Monet’s next move could therefore define her entire arrival in Port Charles. She could treat the gallery record as leverage in Chase’s custody dispute, or recognize that exposing the name too quickly might put Phoebe at risk. Either choice would place her directly against Tracy — and potentially against someone far more dangerous.
The real shock would not be that Ethan lied. Viewers already know that. It would be discovering who made the lie necessary.
If Monet follows Delilah’s missing gallery record to its source, she may finally find the name Ethan sacrificed the truth to keep hidden. And once that man learns Phoebe is alive, Chase and Brook Lynn’s custody fight could become the least of their worries.
