DIANE FINDS KYLE’S ORIGINAL DNA REPORT — NIKKI’S SPERM-SWAP SECRET HIDES ONE RESULT JACK NEVER SAW!

Diane and Nikki’s latest war could be heading straight back to the DNA scandal that once connected them in the most personal way possible. Diane may believe she knows everything Nikki did during the battle over Kyle’s paternity, but one forgotten laboratory record could expose a piece of that story Jack never saw.

The timing could not be better for Y&R to revisit it.

Diane is already furious over Nikki’s closeness with Jack and believes Nikki continues to insert herself into their marriage.

Nikki refuses to be intimidated.

Their confrontation at Society made it clear that neither woman intends to back down.

But this rivalry has much deeper roots than Jack’s current friendship with Nikki.

Decades ago, Diane wanted to have Victor Newman’s child.

She obtained what she believed was Victor’s sperm for artificial insemination, but Nikki interfered with the sample.

Diane eventually gave birth believing Victor was the father.

The child was even initially connected to Victor before DNA evidence blew the story apart.

Jack was ultimately revealed as Kyle’s biological father.

That history makes Nikki uniquely dangerous to Diane.

Nikki didn’t merely compete with her for a man.

She interfered with the circumstances surrounding Diane becoming a mother.

Now imagine Diane deciding that she is finished allowing Nikki to control the narrative.

She goes back to the original records.

Not because she doubts her love for Kyle.

Not even because she initially doubts Jack is his father.

Diane simply wants proof of exactly what Nikki did.

Then she finds something unexpected.

The old laboratory file is incomplete.

There is a page number missing.

Or a second test is referenced that Diane has never seen.

Perhaps there is even an original result stamped before the final report entered the family record.

There is currently no evidence that Y&R has changed Kyle’s established paternity. Jack remains his father.

That is precisely why the strongest twist would not immediately announce a new father.

The bombshell would be the missing information.

Why does another result exist?

Who received it?

And why did Jack never see it?

Suddenly Nikki’s old sperm-swap scandal becomes relevant again.

Diane would immediately assume Nikki knows more than she admitted.

Nikki could insist that the final truth was established years ago.

But Diane would not stop there.

Not when Kyle is involved.

The object at the center of the story could be devastatingly simple.

An old folder.

KYLE ABBOTT — PATERNITY.

Diane turns the pages.

One is missing.

Then she finds a notation referencing an additional laboratory result.

That is enough to restart the entire nightmare.

Jack could initially dismiss Diane’s fears.

Kyle is his son.

A decades-old document does not change the life they built together.

But Diane could make the argument Jack cannot ignore.

This is not about changing their relationship.

It is about finding out whether somebody altered the evidence surrounding Kyle before the truth was supposedly settled.

And Nikki already has history with exactly that kind of interference.

That would turn Diane and Nikki’s current feud into something much more explosive.

Diane is no longer fighting Nikki over access to Jack.

She is accusing Nikki of withholding something about Jack’s son.

Nikki would fight back just as hard.

She could accuse Diane of using Kyle’s history as ammunition because she is insecure about Jack.

Jack would be trapped between them.

And Kyle could become the person who finally demands another test.

That is where Y&R could create the real cliffhanger.

Kyle provides a fresh DNA sample.

Jack does the same.

Nobody expects anything surprising.

The laboratory calls.

There is a problem.

The episode ends before anyone hears the result.

Y&R would not even need to change Kyle’s paternity for the story to work.

A fresh test could ultimately reaffirm Jack as his biological father while exposing another hidden manipulation in the original records.

That would preserve decades of history while revealing something new about Nikki, Diane or another person involved in the old scandal.

Or the writers could leave the mystery alive much longer.

Diane’s obsession with protecting her marriage is already driving her deeper into conflict with Nikki.

Finding an unexplained page in Kyle’s DNA history could push her over the edge.

Nikki thinks their current battle is about Jack.

Diane could soon discover that the most dangerous weapon between them has been buried in Kyle’s old laboratory file all along.
