MONET’S SECRET ASSIGNMENT EXPOSED — CURTIS WAS NEVER JUST ANOTHER MILLER & DAVIS CLIENT!

Monet’s sudden interest in Curtis may be hiding something far more dangerous than an ambitious attorney hunting for a new case. General Hospital quietly dropped several suspicious details during the September 29 episode, and when they are placed together, Monet’s hospital visit starts looking less like coincidence and more like the first move in a carefully planned assignment. Curtis may believe he just met an aggressive new Miller & Davis lawyer, but Monet could have known exactly who she was walking in to see.

The biggest clue was what Monet deliberately did not tell Curtis. She introduced herself as a new attorney at Miller & Davis, explained that she was familiar with his case and immediately offered to investigate the possibility of an appeal. Yet Monet left out one enormous detail: she is Jordan’s estranged sister. Curtis has a long and complicated history with Jordan, so hiding that connection was hardly insignificant. If Monet simply wanted Curtis to trust her, revealing the family connection would have been the easiest way to open the door.

Instead, Monet kept Jordan out of the conversation entirely.

That choice becomes even more suspicious because Monet did not behave like an attorney casually introducing herself. She already knew Curtis’ case. She already had a reason prepared for why she could help him. And even after Elizabeth interrupted the meeting and ordered the unfamiliar visitor to let Curtis rest, Monet refused to disappear quietly. She left her business card with Elizabeth and made sure Curtis could contact her later. This was not a woman casually testing the waters. Monet wanted access to Curtis.

Curtis himself seemed to sense that something was off. Before Elizabeth interrupted them, he questioned why Monet was so interested in helping him. That question may become far more important than it appeared in the moment. GH did not answer it. In fact, the episode effectively highlighted the mystery by leaving viewers wondering why Monet was so determined to represent Curtis.

What if becoming Curtis’ attorney is only the cover?

Monet has already indicated that she did her homework before beginning her new life at Miller & Davis. That raises a dangerous possibility. Curtis may not recognize Monet because Jordan has apparently been estranged from her sister for years, but that does not mean Monet failed to recognize Curtis. She could have researched Jordan’s life in Port Charles before ever stepping into that hospital room.

If so, Curtis was never a random client.

The timing makes the situation even more explosive. Curtis has suddenly become a crucial witness in the attack involving Sidwell, and his account could help determine whether Sonny is blamed for what happened. At almost exactly the same moment Curtis becomes valuable to an investigation, a mysterious new attorney with a concealed personal connection to him appears beside his hospital bed asking to represent him.

That does not prove Monet is working for anyone involved in the attack. However, it creates exactly the kind of unanswered question GH loves to hide in plain sight: why Curtis, and why now?

Some fan speculation has already gone even further, questioning whether Monet could be a plant with an agenda of her own. Sidwell and Drew have both been floated as possible secret connections, although there is currently no proof tying either man to Monet. Still, the theory becomes intriguing when viewed through the access an attorney could gain. If Monet represents Curtis, she could potentially place herself at the center of his legal problems while also becoming someone he trusts with sensitive information.

There is another possibility that may be even more personal.

Perhaps Monet’s real target has never been Curtis at all. Perhaps it is Jordan.

The sisters’ estrangement is still largely unexplained, and Monet wasted little time reopening old wounds after arriving in Port Charles. If something serious happened between them years ago, choosing Curtis as her client could be an extremely calculated way for Monet to force herself back into Jordan’s life. Helping the man Jordan once married would give Monet a permanent reason to remain close to both of them — whether Jordan wants her there or not.

That could also explain why Monet concealed their relationship from Curtis. She may want to establish herself as his attorney before he understands the family war he is stepping into.

And that is what makes Monet’s September 29 move so dangerous. GH did not merely introduce a lawyer looking for work. It introduced a woman who arrived with knowledge, confidence and an unexplained interest in one very specific man.

Curtis asked the right question.

Why does Monet care so much about his case?

The answer could expose whether she came to Port Charles to save Curtis, use him against Jordan — or complete a secret assignment that began long before she ever walked into his hospital room.
