Josslyn Jacks may think she is finally closing in on Sonny Corinthos, but her WSB investigation could be about to uncover something far more explosive. Joss has promised Trina that she will stop Sonny no matter what it costs, convinced that he was responsible for the Pentonville attack that left Curtis fighting for his life. But the deeper Joss digs into Sonny’s supposed order, the more likely she is to discover that the evidence does not lead back to Sonny at all. It leads to Vito — and from Vito, straight to Ava Jerome.

That would completely change the investigation. Sonny has insisted that he never ordered Sidwell attacked. According to Sonny, his instruction was for Vito to tell Sully to keep an eye on Sidwell, not take him out. That distinction is enormous. Someone apparently transformed a warning into an attack order, and Vito sits directly in the middle of that dangerous gap.
Joss has every reason to focus on Vito. If she uses her WSB access and contacts to reconstruct his movements, she could uncover the connection that destroys the entire case against Sonny. Vito did not simply exist inside Sonny’s orbit. He also crossed paths with Drew and Ava, the two people with the strongest reason to manipulate the situation from behind the scenes.
Scout could become the unexpected crack in their cover. She has already seen enough around Drew’s house to raise questions about the people coming and going. One innocent comment about seeing Vito could be all Joss needs. Suddenly, the man supposedly carrying out Sonny’s orders was also showing up around Drew and Ava.
But exposing the Sonny frame-up may only be the beginning.

The moment Joss starts digging into Drew and Ava together, another unresolved investigation could come roaring back: Jack Brennan’s disappearance. Joss was one of the first people to become suspicious when Brennan vanished, and she reported his disappearance to the WSB. Although she was ultimately pushed away from that investigation, Brennan’s case never truly disappeared from her world.
Now imagine Joss reopening that file with one new question: where were Drew and Ava when Brennan disappeared?
That is where the mystery could explode.
Brennan vanished under deeply suspicious circumstances. Metro Court security was compromised around the same period, his room became part of the mystery, and the WSB eventually found evidence that pointed toward Nina. But if Joss has just discovered that Drew helped manufacture a case against Sonny, she suddenly has a reason to question every piece of evidence that conveniently pointed somewhere else.
What if Sonny was not Drew’s first frame-up?
That question could send Joss straight back to Nina.
Drew planted Brennan’s wallet in Nina’s car, creating exactly the kind of evidence investigators were supposed to find. Once Joss recognizes that pattern, the similarities become impossible to ignore. Sonny appears guilty because evidence leads investigators toward him. Nina appeared guilty because evidence led the WSB toward her. And lurking behind both disasters are the same two names: Drew and Ava.
Then Brennan’s buried body could become the physical evidence that blows everything apart.
Outback has already shown suspicious interest in the area where Brennan was hidden. If the dog finally uncovers the burial site, investigators could initially be distracted by Charlotte’s missing bracelet. But that clue creates an even bigger question. Brennan was originally connected to the Metro Court, so how did his body end up buried somewhere else?
Someone moved him.
And by then, Joss may already know exactly which two people deserve a much closer look.
The most devastating part of this revelation would not be what it does to Drew. It would be what Joss has to tell Trina.
Trina currently believes Sonny is a monster who caused Curtis’ attack. She trusts Ava. She has no idea that Ava participated in the scheme that set the Pentonville disaster in motion — or that Ava feared Trina would never forgive her if the truth came out.
Joss could therefore return to Trina with the exact opposite answer from the one they expected.
Sonny did not order Curtis attacked.
He was framed.
And Ava helped do it.
But Joss may have one final bombshell left. Her investigation into Curtis’ attack has accidentally reopened Brennan’s disappearance, exposing signs that Drew and Ava were hiding something much darker than the truth about Vito.
Joss began this hunt determined to destroy Sonny.
She may finish it by clearing his name — and exposing the secret Ava and Drew thought they buried with Jack Brennan.
