The discovery of John Abbott’s original agreement with Chancellor appears to explain how John once stepped in to save the company. Yet the agreement may not be the final piece of the puzzle. The real danger for Jill could be a second document — an amendment, addendum, or hidden page that completely changes what that original deal actually meant.
The current revelation already gives Billy a major piece of evidence. John Abbott had a significant arrangement with Chancellor, including a 20-year clause that could have major consequences for the Abbott heirs. Billy now has reason to believe that John’s involvement with Chancellor was far more important than previously understood.
