Hayley’s own behavior could make matters worse. The harder she tries to dismiss Randy, control Bill, or push Naomi away, the more obvious her desperation becomes. That was always the weakness buried inside this scheme. Hayley knows too much. Under pressure, one question from Bill could force her to explain something she should have no way of knowing.

Bill survived the medical crisis, Hayley became more reckless, Randy became harder to control, and now the two conspirators have been seen together by the one person who was never supposed to connect them.
