SPOILER ALERT: JASON CATCHES VITO SECONDS BEFORE HE DISAPPEARS — ONE TERRIFYING CONFESSION BLOWS SONNY’S PENTONVILLE FRAME-UP WIDE OPEN!

General Hospital could be setting up the confrontation that finally destroys the case against Sonny Corinthos. Vito has been ordered to disappear from Port Charles, but he may not get far. Jason Morgan already knows something is dangerously wrong with Sonny’s supposed order at Pentonville, and catching Vito before he vanishes could expose the secret Drew Cain and Ava Jerome desperately need buried.

Sonny has insisted from the beginning that he never ordered Sidwell’s beating. His actual instructions were supposed to protect Sidwell, not attack him. That leaves one enormous question hanging over the entire case: how did Sonny’s message become the exact opposite by the time it reached the men inside Pentonville?

Jason may finally realize Vito is the only man who can answer that question.

Vito is already preparing to leave Port Charles after his secret meeting with Drew and Ava. They want him gone because the operation became far messier than expected when Curtis Ashford was caught in the attack. Curtis was never supposed to be hurt, but his injuries unexpectedly gave Drew something even more valuable — a credible witness prepared to point the finger at Sonny.

That makes Vito incredibly dangerous.

If Jason catches him before he escapes, he may not waste time asking whether Sonny ordered the beating. Jason already knows what Sonny claims he ordered. Instead, he could demand one crucial answer: What exactly did Vito tell Sully after meeting with Sonny?

That question could break Vito.

Vito’s stunning confession may confirm that there was never any misunderstanding at all. Sonny’s message was clear. Sidwell was supposed to be protected. Vito deliberately changed the mission after someone offered him enough money to betray the man he had been working for.

Jason would immediately want a name.

And that is when Vito could drop the bombshell Jason never saw coming.

Drew paid him.

For Jason, hearing Drew Cain’s name would change everything. This would no longer be about a confused messenger or a prison attack that spiraled out of control. It would mean Drew deliberately reached inside Sonny’s own network, bought one of his men and used Sonny’s reputation to manufacture evidence against him.

But Vito may have an even bigger surprise waiting.

Drew supplied the money, but the plan did not begin with Drew. Ava was the one who helped turn Vito against Sonny and set the scheme in motion. Suddenly, Jason would be looking at two people who built an operation designed to make Sonny appear responsible without ever putting themselves anywhere near the actual attack.

The most disturbing part could be what happened afterward.

Once Curtis was accidentally injured, Drew did not abandon the scheme. Instead, he immediately recognized how useful Curtis could become. Sidwell was already Sonny’s enemy, but Curtis had credibility. If Curtis believed the attackers when they invoked Sonny’s name, his testimony could convince Jordan, Dante and others that Sonny had lied about leaving his criminal life behind.

Vito’s confession would expose how perfectly the trap worked.

Jason could also learn that Drew and Ava ordered Vito to leave Port Charles immediately after the operation. That revelation would make their motive obvious. Vito was no longer an asset. He was the loose end capable of connecting them directly to Sonny’s frame-up.

But Jason may still need more than Vito’s word to clear Sonny completely.

That is where Sully could become the next explosive piece of the puzzle.

Jason knows Vito met Sully inside Pentonville. If Vito admits he deliberately passed along a corrupted version of Sonny’s message, Sully may be able to confirm exactly what Vito told him. Suddenly, Jason would have a second witness capable of establishing where Sonny’s real order was altered.

That possibility could turn Jason’s hunt for Vito into Drew and Ava’s worst nightmare.

Sonny has been fighting accusations that he secretly returned to the violent world he promised to leave behind. Curtis believes him responsible. Jordan wants him held accountable. Dante has every reason to question what really happened.

One confession could change all of it.

Vito may have believed leaving Port Charles would erase his part in the scheme. Drew and Ava may have believed sending him away would permanently bury their connection to Pentonville.

They may have made one fatal mistake.

Jason got to Vito first.

And if Vito finally tells him who paid for Sonny’s betrayal, Jason may not simply clear Sonny’s name — he could walk away holding the secret that brings Drew and Ava’s entire revenge scheme crashing down.
