TRACY’S MASTER PLAN DESTROYS CHASE & WILLOW — SHE TURNS THEIR OWN “INNOCENCE” INTO BROOK LYNN’S DEADLIEST WEAPON!

SPOILER ALERT: Tracy Quartermaine may be about to pull off one of her coldest moves yet on General Hospital, and Harrison Chase and Willow Tait could walk straight into her trap without realizing they are handing Brook Lynn Quartermaine exactly what she needs to fight back.

The coming scandal begins with Lulu Spencer, whose explosive article is expected to put Chase and Willow under intense public scrutiny. The story could make it appear that the married detective has become far too close to Congresswoman Willow, turning their controversial bond into something that looks much more damaging from the outside.

But Tracy may be the real power behind the explosion. Lulu recently sought Tracy out, and spoilers point to Lulu pursuing a lead before her latest article makes serious waves. If Tracy quietly helped steer Lulu toward Chase and Willow, then this was never simply about embarrassing them. Tracy may have recognized an opportunity to destroy their credibility without ever needing to manufacture a lie.

That is what makes Tracy’s possible strategy so dangerous. She does not need Chase and Willow to admit to an affair. She does not even need proof that they crossed a physical line. She only needs Port Charles to start asking why Chase has repeatedly placed himself so close to Willow while his marriage to Brook Lynn remains unresolved.

Chase’s greatest weakness may be his absolute belief that his intentions are honorable. He has repeatedly defended Willow, shown sympathy toward her and given her forgiveness that Brook Lynn has not received. Tracy has already challenged that contradiction, and she may now be ready to make sure everyone else sees it too.

Willow has just as much to lose. As a congresswoman, she cannot simply dismiss damaging questions about her relationship with a married police detective. The harder Willow insists that nothing improper happened, the more attention could be placed on every private conversation, every moment Chase defended her and every decision that appeared to work in her favor.

Then comes the truly dangerous part: the missing traffic-camera evidence.

Chase did not actually make that evidence disappear. Jack Brennan was responsible for getting rid of it. However, if Lulu’s article creates the impression that Chase somehow protected Willow during her legal trouble, the scandal suddenly becomes much bigger than a possible affair. Chase could find himself defending his integrity as a police officer.

That distinction could be exactly what Tracy understands better than anyone else. A romantic rumor can eventually disappear. Questions about whether a cop compromised his badge for a woman he was emotionally attached to are much harder to escape — especially when that same man is preparing for a custody battle involving Phoebe.

Chase will naturally want to fight back. Spoilers indicate that a defamation lawsuit may become part of the fallout, and Chase could believe taking legal action against Lulu is the fastest way to restore his reputation. Willow may support that move as she tries to protect her own political future.

But what if fighting Lulu is precisely the reaction Tracy has been waiting for?

The moment Chase makes the scandal a legal battle, he can no longer simply call the story gossip and walk away. His relationship with Willow, his professional decisions and potentially even the circumstances surrounding that missing evidence could face greater scrutiny. Chase could win the argument that he never had an affair and still lose something far more important.

That is where Brook Lynn enters Tracy’s endgame.

Brook Lynn does not need Tracy to prove that Chase is a monster. She needs leverage in a fight where Chase’s judgment, stability and priorities could all matter. If Chase spends the coming weeks publicly defending Willow while battling accusations surrounding their relationship, Tracy may have handed Brook Lynn an entirely different portrait of the man asking to raise Phoebe.

And Tracy never had to force Chase to do anything.

She did not make him defend Willow. She did not make him keep returning to her side. She did not create his unresolved marriage. If Tracy fed Lulu the right trail and then stepped away, Chase and Willow may have supplied every damaging piece themselves.

That would be vintage Tracy Quartermaine.

Willow cannot defend Chase too aggressively without feeding the scandal. Chase cannot distance himself from Willow without raising questions about why. If they attack Lulu, they keep the story alive. If they stay silent, Port Charles is left to draw its own conclusions.

Every exit leads somewhere Tracy can use.

The cruelest part may be that Chase will believe Tracy destroyed him when the truth is far worse: Tracy may simply have understood him well enough to know exactly what he would do next.

Brook Lynn never needed to destroy Chase herself.

Tracy just needed to give Chase enough rope to destroy his own case — and by the time he and Willow finally see the trap, Brook Lynn may already be holding the deadliest weapon in the custody war.
