General Hospital could be preparing a family bombshell far bigger than Hudson’s suspicious interest in Baby Phoebe. Ethan went to extraordinary lengths to conceal the identity of Phoebe’s biological father, insisting that the man was dangerous enough to justify keeping him away from the child. Hudson currently looks like the obvious answer, but that may be exactly what the story wants viewers to believe. The real shock could be that Jerry Jacks is Phoebe’s father — and Hudson is only the man Jerry sent to find her.
That possibility completely changes Hudson’s role. His pursuit of Ethan and his growing interest in Phoebe would no longer be the actions of a biological father searching for his daughter. If Delilah’s hidden history ultimately connects Phoebe to Lila Rae or another part of the Alcazar bloodline, Phoebe could secretly be Lorenzo Alcazar’s granddaughter.
That revelation would give General Hospital the perfect reason to resurrect one of its most memorable dangerous men. Lorenzo was presumed dead after his violent final chapter in Port Charles, but death has never been an absolute barrier on this show. A survival reveal would immediately reopen decades of history involving the Quartermaines, Sonny, Jason, Skye and the Jacks family. Yet Lorenzo’s return would not need to begin with revenge or a business takeover. This time, he could return for something intensely personal: saving his granddaughter.
The irony would make the story even stronger. Lorenzo once represented the dangerous world from which Skye desperately wanted to protect their daughter.
