Everything could point directly toward Willow. Kai helped expose her secret. Willow knows it. She has reason to be furious. The confrontation with Michael establishes exactly how much she has to lose. If Kai is attacked immediately afterward, the circumstantial evidence practically writes the accusation by itself. Motive, opportunity and anger would all appear to lead to the same woman.
And that’s exactly why Willow could be innocent.
The timing may be too perfect. The stalker could eliminate Kai while allowing Willow to absorb all the suspicion. Kai disappears from Trina’s life, police chase the wrong suspect, and the real stalker remains invisible. It would be an almost perfect crime — especially if the attacker understands what has been happening between Willow, Michael, Kai and Trina.

Trina may ultimately be the person who realizes something doesn’t fit. At first, even she could suspect Willow.
